However, this is a timepiece that is closely tied to the watchmaker's family history, which makes it even more valuable. In 1978, when 13-year-old Jacob Arabov was still known as Yakov Arabov, his father Nissen Arabov gave him a dual time zone watch from the American brand Wakmann.
This watch symbolizes family tradition and support and became the inspiration for the creation of the "World Is Yours Dual Time Zone" watch.
Designers at Jacob & Co. borrowed a key design principle from Wakmann: two built-in dials surrounded by depictions of continents. But the similarities end there.

Jacob & Co. Twin Turbo Furious
The World Is Yours Dual Time Watch is powered by an exclusive self-winding JCAA11 movement composed of 206 components. This movement not only controls the two time zones, but is also responsible for their shared seconds indication.
The central small seconds hand is based on a geographical map and is shaped like a wind rose. The two time zone subdials with Arabic and Roman numerals are baptized by the ocean waves handmade in blue lacquer.
Protruding from the water are realistic laser-contoured embossed continents that are stamped using a die and electroplated to cover them in rose gold. This map depicts the Western Hemisphere of the Earth.
The bezel of this watch is particularly thin to focus attention on the dial. Another change that makes the dial stand out is that the Jacob & Co. globe is not flattened: it is curved, with a maximum height difference of 3.7 mm between its lowest and highest points.
This is why all hands are tilted no less than 12 degrees. The back of the watch shows another map, but this time Eurasia and Africa are the focus.
